I am pleased to have found your web page. I have missed seeing you on Sweet Dreams on the Food Network - but, then, I'm missing a lot of things I used to really enjoy on that channel. It seems that they've gotten rid of all the "good" stuff and, instead, have incorporated a lot of not such good stuff. I really loved your Sweet Dreams program there and feel I learned a lot from you - including about
Sweetie Pies in Door County! I followed up on your recommendation of them and have ordered their pies as part of my Thanksgiving dinner for years now! You are right! Their pies are really WONDERFUL!!! (But then so are the pies YOU taught me to make with your wonderful recipes on Sweet Dreams!
I would guess that at least part of the reason for your departure from the Food Network is that you are WAY too busy pursuing your various restaurants - not to mention keeping up with your growing family. I imagine Geo must be a teenager by now! My own son is all grown up and I can hardly believe that he is getting married in May! Where does the time go!?
Anyway, thanks again for your wonderful inspiration!
